    We have some howling wind and about a foot of flurries. Coming down pretty good, I'm really looking forward to driving home from work, I love 4 wheeling in the snow, I'm gonna take the long way and look for hardly plowed backroads. There are so many plows around here it's hard to find something untouched. The wife has the stove humming away, and the porch supply of wood is tarped and covered with 4 X 4 posts to hold the tarp down and keep the blowing snow out of the wood. Enjoy!!!!

    Just came in for the second time. 20º now, put two big splits of Maple in Grandma to cook away. Man, she's a burnin the Maple up! ;) Snow really slowing down, I think were on the back side of this crap now, wind is still about 25mph, icy bite in the wind!!! :shiver:

    Headed back into negative territory tonight at -9. Getting tired of this. I can't remember the last time we had an extended cold snap like this one.

    Hedge supply is dwindling - only 10 or so cord left. Stuffed an absurd amount of it in the stove - should be good to go for the next 16 hours or so.

    I didn't get any, but the coast did. I live upstate.

    Only snow plows around here are county owned. The dump trucks for DOT have plows they fit when needed

    Snow is done here...wind is still damm strong. I went down the road where the wind was funneling off the pond and it was drifted half shut. Better them than me! Though, I'm now almost out of room to stack snow in front of the house. Gonna hace to start transporting it off the driveway not the back yard going forward

    Current temp 14°F headed down to -6°F with a wind chill potential down to -40°F
    15" fresh inches of snow with another 4" expected tonight. Wind is howling, really cold temps back tomorrow.

    Seeing -3 here in northeast Ohio. Just loaded up a full load of 3 year aged butternut hickory. Too bad I have to leave for work and miss the show. Still a great feeling knowing hard work will be killer heat on the coldest days of the year
