Rope it looks like a heat wave for you! Must be nice to be warming up a bit. We are slowly warming up here. Its -18c/0f at the moment. Ive just done my customary overnight stove stuffing of larch. This will take me until 9 or 10 in the morning. flash and no flash.

3 degrees this morning with ash, hedge and hickory stuffed in the owb.
Gonna' be a heat wave @ 18 degrees today.
Last few days have been well below zero with wind chills in the -20's and less.
Have had to break out 1300 gram Lacrosse boots when getting out of doors.

6f here this morning! Yup, that's a big above zero 6 too! Actually feels nice with just a light breeze putting the real feel at -11.

But, also got a gift from old Ma Nature in the form of snow. 3"-4" of the stuff overnight with at least that much more coming today.

Already shoveled the path and driveway, just have the deck and the OWB left to do. Today, the ashed will be removed form the OWB as well as it's been a little over a month now.

Hope you are enjoying the heat wave Dave. Looks like Marquette is getting a bit of a hard dusting now. We're getting some but don't think it will amount to much at all.

Chinook winds warmed the place up. Woke up to the positive side of the thermometer. A few pics from errands yesterday. 29F, a heat wave. Burning scraps, uglies, shorts, crotches (Easy Boys- not those kind!) and everything else that will not go overnight or produce much heat.

This is just to suck us in though 'cause tomorrow (4 Jan, Thurs) it is supposed to dump 8" to 12" of snow, then Fri through Sunday the high is supposed to be 11F above, with a low of 7F below.
