    It is even cold way down here in the south..... of New England :) Woke up and it was 9 outside. Stove full of oak kept up with the place very well, considering the leaks and lack of insulation.

    Supposed to remain cold (daytime in teens to low 20's, nights in single digits) for a week now. The stove is out of second gear now for certain.

    My stove is eating wood right now. Of course, I'm trying to push the heat to the far parts of the house.

    We're at +2 f with -12 wind chill. Burned white oak splits overnight in the house and pin oak rounds in the shop. Loaded up red oak inside this morning and hickory in the shop.

    Looks good but not very efficient. I won't be in the shop much for a couple weeks but I have to keep the cats comfortable.
