Up to 52 here today didn't load the stove this morning. Sitting at 44 now and I just started the stove up about an hour ago and loaded with cherry and elm for the night. Supposed to go into the low to mid 30's

Another storm tomorrow night. Will it be snow, a foot predicted for Aroostock county. But for here, snow, ice or maybe all rain. What is up with that?

It's 37 degrees, we're down to burning two loads of Cherry a day with this warmer weather.

Keep your eye on the weather the second week of April, it could be another storm for the east coast, wet heavy snow.

Right around the freezing mark on the back porch this morning. No prec. right now. I can see my gravel/dirt parking areas, bare naked, for the first time in a long time! 3-5 inches of snow tonight.

45 outside, 55 in the house this morning. Started off with 3 small splits of black birch and added a chunk of red oak to the top. Wood pile is getting smaller. I'm almost down to toothpicks and popsicle sticks!!o_O

35º here this morning...just burnt down some coals and getting ready for the days load. Rain moving in late morning so I have to go get the truck unloaded from my Wednesday evening cut before the yard gets muddy. Cold to stick around for a few days then showing 60's by midweek. Hvae some lawn mower prep/repair to get done....it's just around the corner after another early April snow storm to keep everybody moaning and groaning. o_O

If you wrap a nice pile of those popsicle sticks with some jute twine they might just burn pretty darn well.

32 degrees this morning, had coffee in front of some Cherry in the Liberty. We'll push some more wood in before the snow comes in.

Right around 30° on the back porch with some Ash and some Maple in the boiler. From inside it looks like we have at least 3-4 inches on the ground and it is still snowing.

27 degrees this morning, my guess is we received five inches of snow, it's still snowing but should taper off this afternoon.

Update. I went out and cleaned the truck off after I posted earlier. There was over 6 inches on my truck and it was still snowing. It stopped about an hour later so I think we ended up closer to 7 inches total. It's wet and heavy. Let's go with those 40's this week, maybe even 50! (I need to get the end of my drain tile pipe cleaned out so it drains well for this big melt off.

My wife thinks we received six inches, plowed with the rhino until after 1, pushed my neighbor out of here driveway then plowed the end out, after that I fired up the sled for a 20 mile ride.

Upper 20's tonight, rainy, but snows with the wind gusts. Had it been colder over the weekend during the 3 days of rain we had, it would have been about 3ft of snow:bug: Bring on the warmup this week!

22° on the back porch early this morning. It is warming up fast though. Sun is really bright and it is time for a nice day in the woods! Ash and Red Oak burning in the boiler. A nice mix!
