A nice 15° here this morning on the back porch. Ash and a little Pine mixed in burning in the boiler. I am off into the woods with the Ford 2120. Have some fun at work today you guys, whatever kind of work you are doing.
48º right now and rain. Had a lot going on last night, it had been up in the mid 50's yesterday and was only going into the 40's last night so I let the stove go cold and ran the boiler a smidge. Wife said about 6:30 this evening "you better get the fire going". Hadn't put anything in the stove since 6 a.m. Tues. still had red coals but not quite enough to get it going or at least not enough that I wanted to wait. Threw a little kindling and a 1/4 super cedar and she was off and running real quick. Supposed to be about 30º tonight, will burn some cherry and maple.
32° this morning on the back porch. Some rain, and a lot of wind. Considerable melting has happened between yesterday and overnight, and should also happen today. 80% chance of rain/snow with a high of 40°. Burning Ash and Pine today in the boiler.
We had 40 degrees this morning with the winds picking up, Cherry again this morning, Cherry for the rest of the heating season.
40º here right now expected to go to 25º tonight. Stove's chewing on some cherry. Rain moving in for late tomorrow and Saturday. No cutting this weekend but that's ok I have some electrical work I want to do at my parents. Showing 18º for Sunday night....gonna keep something beside cherry and elm close to the house.
About 25 on the back porch this morning. Ash and Pine burning happily in the boiler. We received about 1-1/2 to 2 inches of snow last night. Looks like we will have some colder nights coming Sun. through Tues.
That is what I like about Mutley. He knows how to have a good time and not take things to seriously! I should play that video on my 46" TV tonight. I bet I can get one of my dogs to bark at it when they see him. LOFL When I watch nature shows I can get them barking real good with turning it up when the wolves are on! Or the coyotes.
I think we were in the low 20's this morning, Cherry & Red Maple going at this minute. We'll finish burning what Cherry we had planned for this year by the middle of next week, I covered .61 of a cord of next years Cherry two weeks ago so we'll start that when needed.
About 25° on the back porch this morning. Ash and Pine burning in the boiler. When I first got up things were fairly quiet weather wise. About five minutes ago a light snow started, and now it is really coming down! I am getting some caffeine in me in perpetration to go out and cut wood. But first I have to haul a little wood into the house. And then on my way out to cut I need to go down to the camp and feed the pellet stove.
It was 45º at 6:30 and the wind was pretty strong. Put about 4 small splits of cherry and american elm in the stove for the day. Showing some colder weather for the next couple days.
31 Degrees outside, got some odd chunks of Oak burning in the stove. Getting ready to split and cut some wood today along with discing up the garden.
Down to 10° on the back porch this morning. Ash burning in the boiler. We got about 4-5" of snow yesterday. Suppose to go down to around -5° tonight. Am I ever glad spring is here.
Down to 21 this morning with a light coating of snow on the ground.... Got another load of Hedge in the stove....
That's us too. 64 yesterday and 34 this morning. Calling for a high of 41 and overnight low around 19. There's another storm coming up the coast on Tuesday. We may or may not be blessed with more snow. It depends on the track it takes. Looks like the stove will be back to 24/7 for the next 4-5 days with maple and ash.
I'm not sure what the temps were, maybe 10, Cherry heating the house. It's a beautiful day out, the sun is strong on a cool day.
