45° outside. 75 inside. I've been feeding the Lopi alder and hemlock trying to dry out my hunting gear from today.

Same here, we've had 2 frosts this week, our first of the year. Unusually late for us, now were going to get some days in the low 70's. I'm going to take advantage to get some late season painting done.

Top of the morning to all. It 9* this am at 0627 local and dark, the spruce has the house toasty. And the coffee will usher in the motivation to go whittle on the wood pile at light.

It was about 45 this morning at 630, started a small doug fir fire then loaded up some cottonwood and a little maple. Still working on getting thermo-monitors for the house.

Yup, got some of that wind stuff happening in a bad way since about 9 last night. It was hard to know the actual wind speed last night as our station was reporting so late that you already knew what it was an hour ago. I think a fair guess is constant winds of 55-65 km with gusts north of 90-95 k. As a guy in a mobile home, when your walls are moving/breathing and the whole shack is shaking it's kinda scary!! Right now we're still gusts into the low 70's

Raking the yard is going to be a lot easier though.
