The rain will be moving in on Wednesday for three days up here so I'll sharpen some chains I didn't get at.

Capped out at 13 C today. Dropped to 16 C in the house last night, eventually "climbed" to 17 inside during the day - guess that's what happens when it's been 2 days since I've had a fire (was no need, hit 23 inside yesterday).
10 C outside now, rain coming soon. At 8:03 I'm back to 16 C in the house. Got some mmmMaple burnin' now, hopefully it warms the fam up soon!

It was supposed to be cold this morning and it is. Just a little bit colder than forecast. 31ºF
Pine fire to warm up this end of the house, next load will be oak. 50 for the high for the day.
    Chilly start.
    Edit:
Nixed the oak, just one more pine load today. Then that's it. The pine warmed things up right quick.

Just above freezing, so a kindling fire to chase away the chill.

I'm not sure what the temp was this morning (low 40's) but we didn't have a fire overnight so we had a small one this morning with another fire started after lunch.

The wind gust with the rain make it feel colder, after looking at the weather for our area we put in enough wood for about five or six fires at night. We're still burning cherry that was scheduled for the burning season of 2016-17.

It is a measly 40 F in the afternoon with rain here. I have Ash and some more Elm in the boiler. I didn't even try to split the Elm.:zip:

Reached 10 C today, forecast to dip to the freezing mark overnight with chance of wet flurries, turning to rain tomorrow. The house held the heat from last night's burn quite well during the day, 21 C inside.
Plan on burning some mmmMaple and maybe some birch tonight.
    How about y'all...?:)

House down to 63° at the moment. Switched on the pellet stove for now, but light light off the oakleaf in a couple hours. Only going down to 39° tonight, but damp.
