    Good evening folks.
    45 out right now.
No fire in the wood burner since I had it 76 in here earlier today.
They called for 50 or 51 depending on who you believe more, but it was up to 56, guess they missed the mark.
It might have had somethingto do with the little fire I had out back though :MM:.
Hope you all have a good evening,
    Brett

33 here, looking for a hi of 48.
Just started a little fire as it is 68 in here.
Couple ash splits, some scrounged black locust branches, and som red oak bark to get it all started.
    Have a great day guys.

So...when you load the stove for -22, and 2 hours later it's -11, and then 2 hours later it's-5 C, it sure gets hot.

As predicted, temps dropped all day long. Also got windy, from the north. Also snowed a couple inches. Gonna light the kicker stove tonight!

52ºF OAT and a mostly sunny day. Solar gain kept the house warm. Got the stove ashes cleaned out.
Temp's supposed to drop to the teens tomorrow night and be below freezing by morning. Will either start a fire tonight or wait till morning.

The cold will make a reappearance tomorrow after enjoying a 40°F day today. Current temp 32°F dropping down to 21°F overnight, which will be our high for tomorrow. It has been snowing off and on and its expected to continue through tomorrow morning, only dropping a few inches. Burning ash and birch.

Big change from the 30s-40s we've been having
For the last month I've mostly been on propane with the occasional fire in a dip below 30.
Had the flu BAD for 10 days in Feb and propane was a welcome relief.
Fired up this morning for the next 24 and then we return to 40s.
