Sometimes when I scrub it I realize I didnt need to. Makes me sleep better so its a win win. Youre a clean burner so it will probably be good but at least youll know!

The cap looks to have a little buildup. Mostly having small hot fires lately helps to not have things get gooped up too bad.
I'll know more when I get up there with the brush. If it wasn't raining, it would already be done.

We had 45 last night so we went without any type of heat, it's 51 this morning so we still haven't used any type of heat.

We have a Wind Advisory so I think we'll forget about a fire tonight and go with the furnace.

We had strong winds last night and it's still going on, from my walk around some of the house property I found part of a pine blown across the trail and the wife spotted the new grill cover that the wind took care of overnight.

We had 23 when we had coffee but it's down to 14. We'll be having some colder nights until Sunday so the pellet stove is set for use, the nights will be dropping to some minus temps before it gets warmer on Sunday.

I plan on taking care of the downed pine later today or tomorrow, I won't have pictures because of one broken camera and no pocket cd's for the old one.

Current temp 21° windy headed down to 6° tonight. Fever finally broke today from the flu, and I feel like walking death. Got enough energy to go out and bring in wood, so have the stove going.

Got about 3-4 since yesterday. 40's Sat and 50's Sun, Mon will knock it down and a lot more!

Just about over with my sickness. Able to breathe better and not waking my self up with a coughing attack; congestion is almost cleared up and energy level is better once again.

Well Seasoned we all have been there and hope you recover with not much more discomfort. Get your rest!

Thanks and glad your getting better. I've been resting so much, my back is beginning to hurt. I knew I had a serious fever 103.5 when the house was 85° and I was shivering. :picard:
