    Current temperature 11° headed down to 7° tonight. Stuffed the oakleaf with a bunch of ash, Maple, and birch. Stay warm!

    Sorry your not getting the snow that you expected this year even though you are getting small amounts constantly, I feel you are getting cheated out of a few big storms that makes life exciting...:)

    Storm coming in Tues night should bring 6". We've enjoyed seeing Saucy azz deep in snow ever since October.

    It's 18 headed to 7 tonight so the liberty is going with sugar maple and the pellet stove is set on 78.

    A chilly 14 degrees here, stuffed the Greedy Hungry Monster like a sardine can last nite.

    5* and a few pieces of locust went in to satisfy the crematorium, the dog wanted in so I didn't fill it.

    12º out this morning, 71º inside. Been burning down some coals from a stove full of ash last night. Cherry and locust going in shortly. Sunny and 32º expected today, may get out this afternoon to cut and haul some firewood. Heading shortly to get an eye exam, gotta be able to see WELL if I have to put another log on the fire boys and girls.

    We had 10 degrees this morning so I cleaned some of the ashes out of the liberty and then loaded it up with cherry,soft maple,hard maple and beech.

    25° loaded the hot blast up with hedge walnut hickory and cherry. Since I won't be home today. Next week were gonna be back in the 50s and rain. Gotta love indiana

    IMG_2410.JPG 5c in leeds uk , burning all weekend just cos I like to watch fire instead of TV
    Found three 24 x 18 rounds shoved against a wall a while back .
    Picked one up and it was light as a feather so brought em home and chucked em in a corner, dug them out today as weather were nice out . Reason they were light is at some point they had woodworm. Chopped em into four inch rounds and smacked em into random bits . Tried a few on fire as there only 15-18 % and they burn hot and last ages Happy days .
    Used one to chop some chicken on for red kites .
