    Sitting at - 6°F going down to - 8°F

I think we'll get colder than that. Snow moving in late, through tomorrow, up to 6" with a chance of freezing rain. More snow expected Sunday. Burning my usual mix! Stay warm!

It's 85 in the basement so I shut the pellet stove off until I call it a night, I'll also do a small load in the liberty.

Only a low of 7 tonight.

Very interesting keeping an eye on Accuweather.
Forecast low was 14 a while ago, and it was 14 ( so they said). Just looked again, and it's now 15 with a forecast low of 15.
The 6-12" they've been forecasting is now down to 4-8".
It's like a box of chocolates.............

The weather channel says it's 10 in the Burg. The thermometer on the back porch says it's 1 now. Charging basement heat battery again.

FAR OUT!! Rare warm weather here today for Dec, rain today, just now tonight saw a huge lightning bolt and the thunder lasted for soooo many seconds, weird! Then, Crazy Wind. We have been through 90 mph gusts and even 60mph sustained winds, just now was, W O W.

We had windows flexing and whistles in windows/doors that we have never seen or heard before. Calming down now 15 minutes later. Still W O W ! !

The broken tramp that was tossed a block away over the pole barn last fall (and we never got to the dump) is gone, a spiral metal "Christmas tree" is gone. Oh well glad that crazy wind from the wrong direction is gone too, it was sucking the heat out of my house.

Now that would have been a bit disconcerting, to say the least. Hope you don't wind up in Kansas.

Yikes on all the wind stories... make our recent windy days seem like light summer breezes.

Anyways, it has gotten colder here in PA... no snow yet, but perhaps a couple inches overnight before changing to rain tomorrow. Overnight temp will likely be about 18F.

We're going to run white oak in The One Who Consumes for a while. We have a small snack in right now, and will go to a full meal at bedtime. Should keep the house around 70F unless the winds start up again.

It's warmed to 20º outside, calling for snow starting soon, just a couple inches before turning to freezing rain toward morning then all rain tomorrow and pushing 50º. Then back in the teens overnight. Just loaded a mix of elm, red oak, locust and sugar. 72º inside. 2 more days of shotgun season this weekend but this boy ain't going nowhere in freezing rain....we'll see if the weather gurus call it then we'll decide if I chase Bambi.

Warming up here in WNY. Not sure exact temp but I would guess around 25. Suppose to be in the low 40's tomorrow. Had a work Christmas party tonight. Came home and brought a bunch of wood in, tried to organize wood but this is what I ended up with, wood everywhere! Ash and maple, lil cherry on the left. Guess that's the mess you get after jack and gingers.
