32, possible freezing rain. Ash and a little Maple warming the house.

 

Woke up to it being 34 outside. And it was 72 inside the house without the heat running. That is such a huge difference from what I was experiencing. Man, that old place was drafty.

Small load of chitwood for the day.

 

47 right now, calling for 54.
Still needed a small fire to take out the chill.
IAT is bouncing between 66-68, until the stove gets choochin'.

 

21°foutside and 17° for tonight's low, just got the stove going good with Pinion pine.

 

We had 32 with rain this morning so we had another fire with cherry over coffee.

No fire today ... bummer! 50 now and only going down to 42. Emptied the ashes and cleaned the Fireview's glass - not the black stuff, only this fine light haze that develops over a period of 4-6 weeks of burning. Won't fire up the stove until tomorrow morning.

 

Ice and freezing rain is nasty, traffic here went from 60 mph to a crawl instantly when the freezing rain started...

 

Next time leave her extra food and tell her she can't get into unless you don't get there at your regular time then she can have it...

 

hard to like the icy post's I hope ya'll do OK. I'm not looking forward to icy roads anytime soon!

 

Temp read 35 on the way home from work, but I bet it felt like 5! Ma, some sorta cold that went straight through ya!

 

Clear up to 65º today was almost down to my underwear and orange hunting vest, had a nice one come in from behind me, when it got beside me the only shot I had was with the deer between me and the property owners house (hunting an old stand that I rarely use), had to let it go. Still hanging in the mid 50's and supposed to get to 60º tomorrow with a 90% chance of rain, no fire until Thur. when it gets cold again. Going to take the wife shopping at Grove City PA tomorrow instead of sitting out in the rain up a tree.
