    Went to a H.S. ball game tonight. Snow was coming down with a vengeance on the way there. Lots of ice covered roads right now. It was a very wet snow that just packed right away. Gonna be a mess until its plowed away.....

    31 right now. And dark.

    21 degrees with snow coming down. Not very heavy. Looks like temps may turn it to rain later today. Ash and Pine burning.

    It was 32 when we had coffee and the temps are at 33 with some or was freezing rain, the Liberty is loaded.

    Ended up with 2" of the wet heavy stuff yesterday evening.
    Next ten days will continue with mild temps...20's & 30's.

    I have been letting the fire go out overnight. About 30 this morning and I got a fire going again. Not going to warm up much, maybe upper 30's but it is cloudy. No snow in the immediate forecast. Should be close to 50 on Saturday.

    Standby for some real snow. I am probably about a day ahead of you with typical weather patterns and the forecast was for 3 inches today. So far we have about 4 inches, the radar shows at least 3 or 4 more hours and it is coming down at about 1/2 inch every hour. So far no drifting because the flakes are pretty heavy with temperatures hovering around freezing.

    We're on the northern tier of a tornado watch. It's freaking 60°F, was in the mid 40s two hours ago. All was quiet, fog oozing from the leftover snow piles. Now the winds are really picking up, I've heard multiple branches come down. Severe thunderstorms on their way, packing 70mph straight line winds. Not gonna be a fun night at all, bad weather to expire around midnight. Be safe all......
