    Ha yea, there out! ThE grass is half green half frost killed. Tree frogs out .

    I'm more glad I don't live near this huge city!

    I'm south of downtown by like 20to30 mins. I can't believe the stuff. And there is a lot of vacant Comercial property from brand new to 10+ years old. I have seen more closed down gas stations around here than I have seen in a wholE year!

    Right where I want to be.
    Went to bed with the OAT at about 25, and that's what it was when I got up.
    About 7-8 pieces of Oak in last night and the house was still 68 when I got up at 9am. (yep, I slept in:))
    Installed 4 small Oak rounds in the stove this morning. May have to reinstall some more later, but we're going up to mid-30s, and the sun is bright in a completely clear sky.
    Solar gain should help some today.

    Chilly.

    Icy.

    Supposed to be sunny, but it isn't.

    No mice all winter, so I relaxed my deterrent measures.
    Two feet of snow outside and guess who has come to dinner.....

    Glad you noted the skunk, I saw my first dead one yesterday and keep forgetting to tell my wife. They are one of my signs of Spring just around the bend. {edited out the typos}

    Put in a few oak splits after work. Snowed a bit today, expecting maybe an inch tonight, and a "glaze" of ice. Heavy rain tomorrow, so we'll load the jotul before bed and again tomorrow morning with hickory & oak.
