It's a balmy 29 degrees tonight, more of the same in the Liberty.

Windmapper.com has our highest wind gust tomorrow at 46, the highest I saw it in the past three days was 54.

May let it go out today.

Power out in a few towns along lakeshore due to high winds .

8 splits of Oak and Maple last night at about 11, and it's 70 in here this am at 8am
I waited until 8:30, then added 3 Maple splits on the coals. Supposed to hit 39 today.
We got about 4" of snow last night, so I'll be rakin' the roof when wife and FIL get up.

It's been warmer, so less wood getting pushed through. Didn't really need a fire this morning, but heavy rains moving through today, so at least it won't be damp when I get home. thewoodlands how much rain you expecting?

.25 - .50 inches of rain, I think we received the first .25 already if not more, it started last night around 10.

You ought to have a lot of firewood on the ground with all the moisture and those high winds.

But all the moisture from the last few months is not gone right? Were still saturated everywhere and have been since about early december.

Dropped some snow on us last night and temps dropped back a bit. Just breaking into the 20s so a couple splits of locust are cooking away. :)

Tonights low will be in the single digits.
Since last night, probably got around 12"-14" of snow. It is still snowing now, just not with any intensity of threat. Used the snowblower today, for sure!

We did get the rain but the higher winds stayed well south of us, I don't expect to find much down. My spring cutting is all set, I just need the ice to get off the hills before I start.

We had heavy rain all day and major snow melt. Heavy fog from the snow. Took the grizzly out to run Maple when the rain stopped and had some pretty deep standing water on most of the trail being trapped by the still frozen ground and snow. Mid 40's, put a small night load in of hickory and silver maple uglies.

we got some rain overnight but no wind i know of. i let the fire go out today because it got up near 60 degrees! in february! in ohio! crazy weather this year. the weather nazis said cold is coming back now and it is going down into the 20s tonight so i am oxidizing some more maple splits tonight to keep us warm in the am. i feel fortunate to not be dealing with the snow some of you guys are. good night folks.
