We had 35 this morning when we had coffee so I turned the Pellet Stove off, I cleaned some of the ashes out (ashes went outside in a garbage pail) of the Lopi Liberty and then started a fire. The temp is 42 out today with some rain.
It would be nice to have a full day of SUN! Wouldn't it?I don't think I've seen more than an hour here or there in over two weeks, at least!
45 and rain. I enjoy this wood stove too much ... getting a bit warm in here at 75. Got the convection loop going with the room farthest from the stove; helps a bit, but still to warm for my tastes. If it hits 76, may need to open a door/window. Burning chunks of black cherry and american elm.
Prove it. We had over an inch of rain this am. That would've been a lot of snow. Brown Christmas here... OK there's green grass, but this Christmas is an odd one. Warmer by a lot, rain and no snow.
24 this morning. Haven't looked outside yet, but I'm sure yesterday was nothing more than a dusting otherwise the weather people would have posted "hazardous weather conditions"!
Woke up to spring this morning, mid-50s F now with a high expected around 60F. The stove is cold and probably will be for the next week. KaptJaq
Woke up to mid 20s...put my first piece of honey suckle on. Really put out some heat. 2 year seasoned and still very dense.
They're calling for 54 tomorrow and 65 the next day, I guess it's time to go work off some off these Christmas cookies.
