Have you had a fire yet Dave? Your temp difference really surprises me sometimes.

Monday morning this past week, I had 32 degrees.

Yes, I built a one and done fire in the NC-30 (basement stove). I really didn't need to, but.....:salute:

I could have backed off on the load as the basement warmed up from 62 to 75! No matter, it did warm the floors of the main level nicely. :handshake:

48* F last night. First time breaking into the 40's. 71 forecast for today. Will rearrange my mushroom logs today and maybe take the Honda 125 out for a spin chasing garage sales.

We have had a few small fires so far. I'm not turning the furnace on until needed this year.

In the 50's here. And rain soon to start.

Windows are open to get the "1st burn smell" out.

when hypothermia starts to set in on T.Jeff Veal   Were you just Jonesing to have your first fire?

Rain started just after nine here. Ended up taking a nap. RARE for me. I could've done my cold smoke but forgot to make some hickory sawdust yesterday.
