Right now back porch thermometer says about 23. Suppose to only be a high of 36 tomorrow. Pine burning in boiler. Getting rid of a lot of Pine early this burning season. Long shoulder season.

18 on the back porch. Brrrr. It's too early to be out here. Dam dogs like to go to the bathroom outside. Smell what's been around overnight. Oh well, I just now got warmed back up standing next to boiler after adding more Pine!:fire:

We had 25 this morning, we have a Hemlock,Cherry & Blue Beech fire going.

I think today will be a day of running around finding good downed dead Ironwood, my goal is to fill up the tub and then get it inside.

    24 now.
I slammed a 7" cherry round into the stove at 9am and threw in a couple small pieces of beech around 4pm. That round is only half gone ! Beech is coaled up. I may have to save some of these cherry rounds for colder weather !
