Now there is a coating of ice out there since we had rain early this morning. :picard:

Just below )or just above) freezing this morning.

I'd hate to see the highways this morning!

32/70 sipping coffee and just about ready to load some ash and cherry. Snow and freezing rain to start soon, glad to be able to stay in today. Plenty of Christmas meal left overs and sweets around the shack. Had a blessed Christmas at the Locust Post aboad.

16/70 tulip poplar and ash to get things going. Plenty of red oak staged up for the reload later.

70 inside, lost track of outside. Burning some rotten/punky oak I pulled out of the woods today. Barely useable but it’s warm enough out to burn. Hollow, punky, half buried in leaves. Wish I had an empty tote, I’d cut and split it all in the next couple days and let it sit inside for the rest of winter and burn it early spring.

Good Morning! 13 feels like 2. About 4 inches of powder overnight.

It was 60 in the house this morning as the woodstove ran out of woodstove juice around 3am. Cold start this morning with ash, pine & maple. Watching the birds at the feeder and morning beverage for me. :coffee:

The dog refused to go out. I think he knows.

We haven't seen much of the bright thing lately. It's nice to see it.
