House was cold this morning at 62. Checked the temperature outside… 31! I still have to take my air conditioners out of the windows :emb: Having the first fire of the season, bigtooth aspen.

33 here this morning I will get shop stove running but daily temps are still going up in the high 60's this week so I will probably wait on the outside boiler for another week

Came home from a birthday dinner last night. Downstairs was 62. Had first fire. Mix of pine, small oak pieces and mystree split. Got the approval of one of the supervisors.

Wife walked in this afternoon and said the house feels amazing. :woodsign: Poplar and oak simmering in the basement is keeping it comfortable. Hopefully the na easta rain stays east of us. I need to do some more splitting tomorrow. Still working on replenishing everything sold last winter. :stacker:

    And so it begins...
Quite a wonky year for weather from the get go, but little chernobyl is back in action lol
+2 C/36 F at the moment, and dropping a few degrees below freezing tonight. Poplar, pine, willow, maple, and ugly yard tree chonkies heating the way

Dreary, rainy day. Highs going to mid 50s. Started a fire before heading off to work. At least the wife gets to enjoy it, as she's off today.

69 inside this morning and it doesn't look to warm up much today. Got a small fire going.
