Mid and high 80's here a few days, opened windows, one day had the cooler fan on (no water). Not used to high humidity but a couple days I treated like sauna treat. Thankfully cools down at night.

High 80's lately and low 90's today. But it's dry now, so swamp cooler kicked butt thankfully, as well as the breeze it's fan makes. I got a little squirrly yesterday with hot dry wind gusts (up to 60 mph) that brought back scary memories of 2012 wildfire in Colorado, but reassured myself I do not live in dead pinebeetle trees anymore, worst would be a grassfire

CHECK THIS OUT. Because the water of Lake Superior is so cold still, we could have a wind chill in the 40s while mere miles inland it feels as hot as 105 degrees with the heat index. CRAZY. If you live in Marquette area just drive to Mother Nature's A/C lol.

The heat wave broke (for us) last evening.

I shut the AC off, opened some windows and let the breeze coming off the water do it's magic. Those danged biting flies are back to wherever they go once it isn't so hot. You know, the ones that grab a big chunk of your flesh as soon as they land?

Heck, I even built a fire in the pit! Got rid of a load of bark that had fallen off firewood chunks-mostly ash.

Overnight, the temps dropped into the 50's but the breeze went away-house still cooled down without AC. 56 at the moment.

72 for a high; tomorrow will be 78.

    But.........we still need rain.

Beyond the heater dome is the gates of hell. 97
On the bright side the yard might finally dry out.

    Hey teammates!!

Been a minute since I’ve been here. We’ve been super busy with camping, hot springs, work etc.

It’s hotter than hades here. It’s currently 9 pm and 57 f degrees!! I can’t remember a summer this hot up here.

Hope you all are doing well.

    Love, Cash

Yikes!! Maybe time to think about a Generac?

What's this about substations? It seems to be happening in several areas all over the States.
