No fires for a couple days but that will change by Monday. It looks like the cool weather is here all week.

Maybe get to the high 30's today.

Then tonight, it's in the upper 20's.

LP is taking care of business this morning.

43 with no fires. Guessers claim rain coming tonight, but they've lied many many times before.

Ah! The long weekend, it’s the Victoria Day long weekend here in Canada, yesterday was cool and rainy, today drizzle and cool, about 58f, but now about 4:30 the sun has come out and it’s felling a little warm, now damm it, the black flies are out in full force.

Upper 60's and cloudy. Front came through and it got breezy. Very pleasant day. Assorted splitter scraps in the firepit and steak on the charcoal IMG_7354.JPG

Mid 50's here, but dark and raining. WOW the humidity! Ran the stove today with cat bypass open since wood soaked in rain. Tonight the other load in the stove room from this morning seemed to by drier to I'm using the cat.

Fire twice yesterday. Fire twice today. Rained since Saturday afternoon. We needed bad. The dog started losing control of one back leg Sunday. This morning both legs. It’s a long weekend so I called the vet emergency line. Then I found a tick on his butt. Out came the pliers and Two hours later he was almost normal. Tick paralysis.

43/62 lit the insert about 20 minutes ago. Trying to not run the natural gas furnace on unless I have to. hard to believe it's already been in the 80's here.
