No fire today. We had a storm move thru during the night and we heard it dropped some hail. More rain and storms to come, some this morning and the main show later this evening into overnight. We are in the center of what the weather guessers are calling Torcon 7.

It's over. We burned until the grass needs cut. Success:)

Now we endure the spring storms that have been marching through the area. 6 plus inches of rain in a week is plenty! Wind. Hail. Lots of roofing, auto repair etc happening here now.
Now on watch for potential tornado activity in the next 24hrs! Yikes.

Overnight low of 27°F last night, Arizona cypress had the house nice and warm. Should get up to around 60°F today with a gradual warming trend for the week.

Yesterday was an interesting day in MI. 80's in the southern part and 30's in the north. Sunburn in the south; snowing in the north.

We had 80 or 82 here then 34 last night.

I think I'll light a fire in the wood stove (not the furnace) and let the basement get warmer. The heat will transfer through the floor and..................aw, you all know how it works! :handshake:

Yesterday's basement stove fire warmed things up nicely. No need for a fire this morning.

Warmer here, cloudy and a brief sprinkle. Summer like dew point. Ceiling fans cranking in the house. Low 70's with random splitter scraps in the firepit. Starting charcoal to grill some boneless skinless mesquite marinated chicken breasts. IMG_7289.JPG
