Hovering around 20 tonight. Wood scraps and some firewood. Have to cut up more of the mill scraps tomorrow so we can get the mill moved.

39 and slowly drying out. The wind is supposed to pick up later which will make it feel a little raw outside. Still burning through the aspen stockpile here.

It’s been in the high 80’s, the trees are leafed out, already mowed and I started a fire a little while ago. :fire:
Fingers crossed that it stays above freezing.

Sitting at 38*, windy and chilly today. Freeze warning tonight. Oak chunk and a big ole solid, gnarly BL split

Just lit a fire with some oak. Supposed to freeze again tonight. We got the chicken coop cleaned out today. 5 loads with the bobcat. My son forked it out the door and I hauled it to the compost pile. I also moved some dirt behind the shop where we want to put the sawmill. There is a concrete pad back there and the ground is higher than the pad, so that has to be fixed.

The overnight was a saved stash, a mix of Hard Maple, Beech, and Yellow Birch. I’m almost out of all good hardwood. Enough left for another cold night or two. Pine this morning. I have enough Pine firewood for the next three weeks. Then I’ll be done for the season.
