    Light snow at the moment.

Quiet and still morning a nice heavy crust on the snow pack that enables the lab mix to go "exploring". I had to go out awhile ago to get him to come back. He's has had to been called back a number of times already this year. Even so bold as to leave us while we are with him outside.

Might be time for the training collar.

First fire in a couple days here, as mornings have been around 40 and quickly rise into the 50s. 34/68 cedar and gray birch.

I let the stove go out yesterday.
Looking at highs in the low to mid 70's today. Stove can take a nap.
Planning on refiring Saturday morning through the next week.
Xing our fingers that the intense low-pressure system moving through tonight leaves my grove, house, vehicles etc. intact. Predicting 60-80 mph winds. Nooooo good.

Looks like predicted winds have been backed off a bit. Nice

I think I found your predicted winds.

Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts 55 to 65 mph.

My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.

58/73 no fire at the moment but will run the temperature up for a bit after the sun goes down.
