3* and enough wind to make it feel well below 0. There was still quite a bit of wood left in the boiler this morning. I put a little more ash on there. 50's next week.
8/66 Good news is-above zero! Bad news is- gonna have to plow /shovel again! jmb6420 has colder temps in OK this morning
Not sure congratulations is what is required here . Maybe condolences. My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.
13/72 going down to 7. Beech and red oak keeping. This not normal for us. Just put more wood in the box.
Wind is frigid. Got home to an almost out fire, so it’s 65 inside. Darn HHO kicked on for one round before I realized it. Ash pan door is open for 2 splits of BL. Maintaining 600 flue temp.
I plowed my driveway after work. Was still 71+ in here then. We got probably 10-12" of some real light fluffy stuff last night and it's been off n on all day. Got some oak, cherry, and white ash warming the stove now. She's 350° and climbing rapidly.
-15 this morning, new record, and -12 predicted tomorrow, could be a record, and then the big warm up starts. Thank goodness as I picked up another cold plus I'm hoping that is what is causing my knee pain.
Just returned from filling it up. Going to hit 30 tomorrow, then a gradual rise int9 th3 forties next week. March is usually nasty, so no sense in thinking * this is over.
Gonna have highs in the 30's here beginning Sunday. I'll be able to give the vehicles a "sponge bath" and get all that dang salt dust off of them!
