    4* Outside, stove almost out; inside Temperature was inside 62 it’s 3:45 AM stove is going.. wife made me :coffee: So it’s clear 62 is absolutely freezing and completely uncomfortable.. unless it’s AC in summer

    If I woke up to an inside temp of 41 when it was 0 with wind outside and the rest of the family wearing coats, I would seriously reconsider my approach to wood burning!

    7. Ash and two splits of something that I’m unsure of are keeping the boiler hanging on. I turned the heat up a bit in the attached garage for some cleaning today. That makes it a little more difficult for it to keep up at these temperatures.

    Woke to 10 this morning. 71 in and 3 splits of chestnut oak on the coals from last nights load of BL. The white stuff should start to go away soon.

    25/67 burning mix of silver maple. sugar maple and ash in my fireplace insert. Nat. Gas forced air furnace has been running some too as this my first fire since Wednesday evening. Insert is for supplemental heating and ambiance.
