    Temp is 25° at this point. Temps will be rising the next couple of days, but it's going to be very windy. Like 40 mph gusts


    77° in the stove room. Ash and box elder in the stove.

    thermometer said 20, small fire with oak this morning so it has time to go out before I get home.
    Need to clean out some ashes, it's been getting some good use this past week.

    27 outside, up from the 21 it was a couple hours ago. I started the day with a quick burning load of cherry and sassafras, and just reloaded with 2 large splits of white oak with one piece of cherry on top. This should last a while :)

    Our coldest morning so far, 24° when I left for work about 5:45AM. Loaded 2 BL splits on the bottom back, with white oak chunks on top, about 11PM last night. Woke up to a nice coal bed and 72° inside...added a split of beech and ash before I left. 20241204_050509.jpg
