Two fires for me here so far this year. There were a few nights I could have burned but with the temps the way they are I let the heater make a couple of cycles. Really, I think it's cheaper for me then burning when the temps are this warm. I see maybe a couple days I'll burn in the ten day forecast but it's day to day for me. This is crazy.
Waking across the yard sounds like you're walking on rice crispies. My name is Mike, and I'm a hoarder.
47f@ 6:30 AM. Finally cleaned the chimney yesterday. Cleaned the stove. Swapped in another connector pipe etc. I also scooped out the level full rain gutters for what I hope is the last round for the season. Anybody know of a good gutter guard design for pine needles? 60f-80f for highs the next 7 days. Forget burning wood. Trout should be scared
Calling for mid 60s for the next few days. Lows in mid 30s. Then high in 50s until next thursday, saying 79* . Crazy
It’s currently 38 degrees here. It was 20 when I got up today. I was supposed to split wood today. Been planning it for several days. Two days ago I came down with the worst gastrointestinal illness I’ve ever had in my life. I’m only now starting to feel like I may survive. My poor wife has been taking care of the boys and I, so I’m just letting the furnace do its thing.
Feel better soon! Been consuming any deli meats? Listeria? Hope you had some high quality toilet paper! (Not this stuff!)
