17 outside with a light dusting of snow. The wind finally died down.

Loaded the boiler this morning with more oak sawmill rejects. Those things burn forever compared to the silver maple and borderline punky ash I've been burning up until a couple weeks ago.

A balmy 33 degrees at the casa right now. 75 degrees inside.
I’m burning Doug Fir and some random odds and ends.

Today was the last day of school before Christmas break, for my oldest son. We spent the afternoon playing in the snow. Great day.

    Stay warm, friends!

    Love, Cash

We still had nice coals from our Tetris load of ash last night (checked box at 0730, filled it at about 2330 last night). As a poster up-thread said, odd weather continues. It’s an unseasonably warm 39 here. A full load of ash at 0730, plus a little maintenance reload of more ash is keeping things a toasty 74 inside.

    31 at about 8:30 PM. It’s going down to 18 by 7AM.

I just loaded the Wood Gun up with Birch, Beech, and two small splits of Cherry. I’m hitting the hay early tonight. Up early in the morning. Stay warm Hoarders.:fire:
