25* when I got up at 5:00. Had a few coals from last night. Tossed some assorted scrap kindling in and had the stove going in no time. Loaded it full of ash before heading out to deer stand

Did you catch the moon halo last night? My son sent me this pic, they live just outside Chambersburg.

Had our Thanksgiving meal yesterday when I got off work so no fire all day. Woke to a very chilly 63 inside. Just lit the fire with RO.

Too many. I had a couple and the wife bought some too. Instead of returning them, decided to use them anyway as kind of a test. The Chimgard brand seems to be the most accurate.

25/70 sipping my first cup of coffee slept a little late until the dog started whining. Got him out and now he took my spot on the bed. Getting ready to load some cherry and maple.

It got to the low 20's overnight. Living room at 66⁰

Red oak with a piece of black locust left plenty of coals for a quick refire this morning.

18/62 I heard the LP furnace start up a bit ago so I lowered the setting on the T-stat and made a fire in the Kuuma!

No extra snowfall overnight which is a good thing!

First fire of the season in the VF-100. I like to wait until the high temps are in the 40’s for a good stretch. This is the latest I remember starting it. 30F currently going to 43F this afternoon. Burning a few splits of ash and one locust split. IMG_7002.jpeg

25/71 here in our part of the mitten and partly cloudy. We're burning maple and some very dry ash. This looks like a good day to haul another pickup bed load from the shed to the front porch. There's a chance we may get 4" to 8" of snow with the system that's coming through tomorrow

I got a fire going on my gas stove top. It is under a pot of water where I have a deer heart cooking. Neighbor got a deer this morning and he gave me the heart. That will be good eating:drool: for sandwiches tomorrow.
