37 out. A whole lot warmer in. Started the stove this AM with buckthorn. Ending the night with cottonwood. Another night in shoulder season!

Think this is the biggest piece of wood I've ever fed the stove. Sugar maple, silver maple, ash, pine, Bradford pear. Checked some of my fresh resplits. All in the 8 to 11% mc range

A beautiful morning in PA this morning. Was 31 at 5 am when I woke this morning. Started fire with some ash before heading to the deer stand.

46/67. No fire. Still get enough radiant heat during the day to keep the house temp up.

We are stuck in a very mild stretch. Its 32f and snowing with everything turning white except for the roads. Lodgepole pine chasing the damp away. I was out in the yard trying to puppy proof our garden and had to come in and warm up. The little fur ball has taken to chewing the raspberry stalks and digging in the garden soil.
