45/69 silver maple in the fireview. Not too cold but really damp. Flames are dancing in front of the combustor.
45/50 today. Had the insert's break-in fire Friday. It was chilly in the house when I got up this morning, so today have the first fire of the season.
Currently 49 but it’s only supposed to bottom out at 47. Nice night for a fire anyway, and I’ve got another mixed load of red oak, cherry, ash and one thin split of apple.

36f this morning heading to 62 for the high. Furnace was ran for a couple of hours yesterday, but back off now. No fires but getting closer.
44 The house was warm when I left. Burned white oak all day yesterday and filled the stove with white oak this morning. It’s amazing how long this stuff burns and how little ash is left behind.
