We had frost yesterday and today and the furnace has been coming on in the mornings. Its been nice and warm in the afternoon so no real reason for us to fire the stove up yet. It seems like our forest fire just went out a few weeks ago. Its nice the back yard fire ban has been lifted. Might have one tomorrow night.

Wife and I pulled the steps out of the pool today so it’ll be closed up within a week. Leaves here are starting to fall, mainly from the very dry conditions we’ve been having. The willow is making a mess.

76 here, 48 degree dew point. :dex:

I think Brad meant to say you could always turn it into a brush pile.

Right. I’ve tried burning it in the firepit and it wasn’t worth the effort.

I was kidding of course. I know its lousy firewood.

I wonder if given a choice you would take willow or elm?
