Took this photo of my (very dirty) outside thermometer just after 10AM today. Yes, I realize that it isn't actually that hot (need to relocate the thermometer) however dang, I was just using the wood stove a couple days ago. Have I mentioned that I hate summer (and it's not even here yet)!

We're supposed to break into the 90's Friday. While I don't like mid 80's and above, I can tolerate it when humidity is low. Above 90, forget about it. I run the A/C. :dennis:

Looking at the indoor/outdoor temps now and it reads 75/94. Outdoor sensor has been in shade since shortly after sunrise this morning.....:picard:

Gonna give central air a test run this evening. :handshake:

Hit 86 today, warming the pool water right along, final pool sweep and solar cover on, brought the water temp up 3 degrees in 2 hrs. A/C is running as well. Pool pump and A/C has the electric meter spinning.

We have had the nicest May on record. Highs in the 60's to low 70's, lows in the upper 40's to low 50's. June is here so now we are going into the 90's. I got a lot of work done outside, I'm going to miss that. Outside work will soon move to mornings and evenings. It's also time to remove the tarps on the wood racks for the summer.

We hit 85 today with the temp at 62.2 tonight, tomorrow we could hit 90 with some cooler temps coming in after tomorrow.

Once we hit June, it will only be four months away from the start of our heating season. We usually start burning on the 15th of September but lately it has been closer to the end of that month.

We just have a few tower fans going, we'll wait longer before the A/C gets used.

No air conditioning yet but was thinking about it the last 2 days. Fortunately we have lots of shade which helps. It looks like 2 or 3 more days of this before cooling off.

In Massena and Potsdam NY, the thermometer on the truck had a reading of 94, back here I saw 92 on the wireless but that's in the shade.

Mid-70's today with 0.51" rain. That's more rain than we had all last month.

It's still 71 out tonight with another day in the high 80's and then this cold front will move in, that will feel nice.

    The info is from NOAA.
8 PM EDT, June 1st - Do you feel that refreshing breeze in the northern Champlain Valley? Thunderstorms near Montreal dropped a gust front that is shifting through the valley, with temperatures dropping as much as 15 degrees. Here are the max wind gusts observed with a 28 mph at Alburgh well away from the storms.

It's 86.5 in the shade today with the house at 81, the cooler weather is coming in this afternoon so we'll stay away from running the a/c.

I like it cooler but the wife likes it warmer so until we get a few weeks of hot weather like this coming in, we'll stay with the fans. The basement was at 66 yesterday so I always have that option.

We usually have an area near the brook ready if we want to take a dip but that water is pretty dang cold still.

Accu is saying 54 for tonight, that's a nice change.

We're at 71 today and the overnight is calling for 52. Tomorrow is mid 70's. Then it's back into the 80's. I ran the AC the past few days because it was a little warmer and rainy and couldn't have the windows open with the wind.
