30/71 have cherry and locust rolling along. 19 predicted overnight, very windy day with snow blowing sideways. Had a few moments today while we were out and about like white outs. Came home with a buggy wheel for decoration that almost didn't fit in the back of our CX5

Moving more wood up to the porch. I thought I was through but a cold front moved in and we're down to 22 tonight. I just know spring is around the corner. Sometime. Soon. Hopefully.

I fill the basement racks on Saturday. That lasts for a week. Three weeks ago I was sure it was the last time wheelbarrowing wood into the basement. Maybe this was the last time moving wood in on Saturday morning.
One stick at a time sweet Jesus!

It's been right at 22 all day and really windy. Down to 17 tonight. It's my son's birthday and I can remember several years we were in tshirts and shorts outdoors.

Boiler loaded with oak and hickory.

You’re getting some serious snow! I love those spring snow storms. They set us up for a nice green summer.

We see 82 as a normal temperature! Feels great in winter and most folks who come agree, though not always those who come to our GTG. lol.

Our Fireview was bought in 2007. We also saw a temperature rise in the house but also a huge reduction in the amount of wood consumed. Here is a picture taken when wife was making applesause and applebutter a few years ago. Notice the wood rack on porch so only a couple steps from wood rack to stove.

20 here as well and roasting hardwood pellets as usual. Supposed to warm up next week into the upper 50's. About time actually. Still have 2 ton of pellets and 2 ton of corn left over for next year.

72 inside at 50% RH. I keep the RH at 50% or better as it 'feels' much better inside.
