    Mid twenties coming. Nice sunny day today and tomorrow, then rain a few days.

    loaded some maple that I split over the weekend were the treetops are. Scored some chunkies too.

    I noticed my neighbor’s new OWB is blowing smoke. He seems back in business

    Opened the firebox door for the evenings fill and was greeted by wiffs of incense. Mulberry!


    Azzhat roofers decided to strip shingles prior to these winds, now we have a neighborhood full of tar paper. :startled:

    They were 3 yrs' old and burned fine, but I wasn't really using them (or anything else) for heat in so much as I was just trying to string the fire along so it wouldn't go out. The house was warm enough.

    29, when I got up this morning I heard the heat pump running and remembered I brought in wood, but forgot to fill the stove. :doh:
    Lit up a load of White Oak so at least my wife and daughter could enjoy a hot stove.

    Wind started before 3:00. Been awake since. :headbang:

    25 now, fresh fire built.

    Thu through Sat evening forecast is 12-18". Yay. Where's all hose people who like to get snow, anyway? :smoke:

    No matter, didn't have anywhere important to go. Appointments can always be rescheduled.

    Good Morning, 30*/60*. The stove is relit with a some Birch and Hard and soft Maple is on the Menu this morning. We got another 5" of light fluffy powder last night on top of yesterdays snow. Fueling up with Coffee to get ready to snowblow.

    So far my sons high school made it to PAs "elite 8" in state playoffs. Big deal for us. A public school going against private schools who can recruit players.
