36 this morning. Ash and Pine in the Wood Gun. Going to 42 today. Yes! Then it will slowly descend into the colder temperatures again. :picard::rofl: :lol:I’ll be glad when winter is over!

That’s hard to imagine right now. Mind if I live vicariously through you for a day or two?

Took down the seasonal wood rack from the patio on Saturday. Sign of spring?

Yeah, it is sounding like a nasty week ahead. Sadly, freezing rain and sleet and snow predicted for here. I'd take the snow but that other is better somewhere else.

Hope you don't have to go anywhere if you get that freezing ran. :handshake:

    8/66.

Snow coming this afternoon. Yesterday's prediction fizzled out and there was not enough fresh snowfall to consider talking about.

Today and the next few days just may make up for it.

First part of wek is 3-6 inches and 2nd part of week is 8-12 inches.

    Yeah, that's plow time!

    Thank you, U.P. :D

:bug:We've been in like a tornado of sand since early evening yesterday. Seems all the silt from the cove behind the house has been blown away so it's blowing sand now, courser than playground sand but not big gravel thankfully. Front of the lake, main part is deeper so still draining so that is still mud storms.

It's like when small hail gets blown on you windows, only a never ending hail storm.

Lol if I were rich I'd consider suing the ding dongs the sued the ditch company to drain it to repair my sand blasted trucks.

Could fast growing trees for a wind break provide you some relief?

Thanks gas, afraid not, desert area no tap water and can't dig wells to water trees. It is what it is, idk with the crazy economy I'm grateful for this abode. I chased down and exhausted every idea I could when moved here. Who could have guessed neighbors would sue the lake.

I can stay home with no problem. I see the county out scrapping the roads today. Maybe to make them smooth so the ice is worse? But I have a generator and plenty of fuel for it. Enough to eat and plenty of water. I also have 5 or 6 5-gallon buckets full of dry sand. If more sand is needed I'll simply take the tractor out on the sand and get all I need from there. And yes, I even have extra gas and diesel.

16 to 20 inches is supposed to come starting Tuesday thru Thursday. I checked the snow blower and it has a full gas tank. Looks like I may have to do some work with it on Wednesday and again on Thursday.
