It's been a strange winter this year but seems to be getting to be the new normal. Won't be surprised to see one or two good snows yet, but last year was only one, in-fact the only time last year I ran the tractor/snowblower and cleared 14 or so driveways.
Not so colder here.. couple splits of oak and one smaller stick of mulberry. Mulberry has to be one of thee most aromatic woods I’ve ever used. It smells fantastic. 74 inside temp.
Fear not. They can still screw things up. My favorite is when the forecast is maybe when the forecast is for a high of, say, 30 but it is already 35.
Rather warm in my area of Virginia. Currently 43 outside. Let the wood furnace go out so we don’t sweat.Burning short ash uglies in the fireplace for ambiance.
42/71, after letting the fire go out early this AM. Just relit for the evening to take off the edge. All chestnut oak.
20/72 fired the stove up tonight after taking a break the last few days with temps in the high 40's. Cherry and pine doing work right now.
20/71 Headed to 44 for the high. White oak keeping us warm. Got a dump truck load to the garage to replenish my stores yesterday.
