    According to one forecast, we've already hit our high for the day. Dropping temps, snow and -12 tonight.

    The next forecast say low of 7 tonight.

    Take your pick I guess.

    Slept in late, it's 18* here as of now. No woodstove this morning as I have to run over to Montpelier to do some business, so the pellet stove has the duty for now.

    Things thawed out just enough to get 1/2" of greasy mud on top of frozen ground. Supposed to get back down to single digits tonight and stay frozen tomorrow.

    Boiler is loaded up with some more oak and hickory....might throw another couple splits on their later since it is supposed to be cold and windy tonight.
