    8 F around 8pm here. I’m burning down some Pine right now and will fill with Ash and Elm for the overnight. Looks like -2 for a low around 2am.

    12 here and dropping. I filled the porch wood box for the upcoming days, there is Oak, Both hard and soft Maple, Elm, Boxelder, and some Black Locust.

    23f dropping to 17 before sunrise. This afternoon, I stuffed the boiler with some five inch beech limbs, and will ad some maple splits prior to bed.

    gotta get out in the morning and do some css.

    9 outside and 70 in. White oak going. I’m sure I’ll have coals when I get home, but the gas furnace will have kicked on unless I can remind my wife to restoke this afternoon

    It's always been that way. But about this time of year the average temperature begins to go up again, albeit very slowly.

    Yesterday was our coldest so far but it was nice because of no wind. They say that is about to change with several windy days in the forecast. Maybe it will bring some warmer weather.
