After church this morning, the rest of the day required shorts and sandals. Rain tomorrow but it should still be on the warm side but it will be turning colder by Tuesday.

Another extremely mild overnight with a low of 62. Took the pups outside last night (11:00) and instead of doing their business, they just laid down on the lawn!

Rain and wind gusts showed up overnight

Couple degrees below freezing again, and heading a few degrees above later. Some snow rolled in around 7 last night, so there's 2-3" of white stuff for now. Yuck. Poplar n pine in the fire machine.

Firestarters made from wax, shredded paper and those water cooler cups.

Finally broke into the thirties at 39*F night before last so we had a first fire yesterday and a fire again today. Wife is in hog heaven. Burning Doug Fir and chunks of bark. Can't overdo it though or the house gets wicked hot!:camping:

42 now. Back to the cooler temps since its almost Nov with 20's and 30's for lows; 40's and 50's for highs.

Looks like it'll dry out some this afternoon.

Sure has been awful last few weeks but breathing that fresh AIR in WA as the rain has been a great reprieve. I can't wait to get back to cutting and enjoying the cool breeze.

:binoculars:I spy some significant others candles? :bug:

Well if she finds out, we sure loved having you here.:(:salute: Good luck soldier. I make these myself with cedar shavings and gulf wax but I picked up a bunch of candles at garage sales this summer. Still got all the cups in a tote somewhere.

A little too much like summer was. :faint: it's finally gone cold and I'd like to shiver a bit before I get warmed up to that level.

We had 28 degrees this morning and I threw in a couple chunks of cottonwood, since it's supposed to warm up to upper 60's by mid afternoon. Trying to get the last of my cottonwood burned up and out of the way.

40 out and 69 in, so I didn't get a fire going yet. Supposed to be cooler today so I may have to get a fire going later. Furnace is still turned off. Rain started yesterday and continued overnight and we got 1.03 inches. We really needed it.

48 out and raining. We've got 2+ inches in 24 hrs. We sure needed it. Maybe the burn ban will be lifted. No fire yet. Supposed to be back in the 70's this week.

Nice of her to scope out them for ya. The thrift stores have been spendy lately! :jaw: I've been getting better deals at Garage and Estate sales...
