21 here this morning. The crew arrived and will be replacing our front door. It should be sunny today and with no clouds that should make it a little more comfortable for the guys. Junk wood in the stove heating up the house.

Thanks for sharing the cold weather with those of us in the south. This mornings low was 32 and tonight is forecast for 28. Burning some pine, ash, and red maple in the open fireplace to take off the chill and keep from turning on the heat. This is the earliest fire that I have ever had but having 6 cords of wood makes it an easy decision to go ahead and build a fire!

Lows in the 20's overnight, highs in the 50's. Amazing unusually calm winds this fall :)

yooperdave , we are so appreciative of the wireless outside temperature gauge, THANK YOU!!

Would anyone know if I got another one for inside my chicken coop (ya, new chicken owner) if they would confuse eachother's signals? Like when kiddo was playing around with an extra wireless mouse it was making MY computer screen crazy? (yes, the wireless usb thing ran both computer mouses/mice.)

I got up to 29 degrees outside and 74 in the family room where the stove is located. I have a mix of soft maple and red oak in the stove.

Some of these have channels that can keep them from interfering. Possibly inside the batter compartment are little pins that can set the channel to that monitor.

Mine has 3 channels available. I’ve got 2 outside and 1 inside. The display rotates displaying each temperature for about 2 seconds before going to the next one.
