Currently 66 @ 6:50a. Expecting 92, with a sunburn time of 15 minutes today. Mowed grass yesterday and felt like I was in a rotisserie. :dennis:

70 is close to our average high but in this case, it was our morning low... May see 90 they say and that could be a new record for us.

I saw that your area could be in for some strong winds today, our chance of high winds start tomorrow.

Very very windy day here. Began in the early morning hours....3:00 ish.

Dropped into the upper 60's overnight before the wind started to knock out power in certain spots, but not here! :smoke:

90 in central Connecticut and dropping slowly. Only burning myself here:picard:Just got done mowing the lawn and weed whacking. Picked up most of the grass clippings and spread them in the garden to minimize the water evaporation. Tomatoes are really loving this heat, with some plants pushing out blossoms already. Tomorrow’s looking gorgeous! 67 with a chance of showers.

90 yesterday, 92 today, 88 tomorrow before a little cooler air for the weekend. Worked yday to get the remainder of wood off the patio. Need to get the patio furniture out. Black Betty was being hateful again, starter shorted out and took out the neutral safety switch in turn. Got her fixed and have the first 2 yards of mulch hauled home (takes 6 all together). Summer brings a lot of work and sweat.

Hate this extreme heat. I can’t imagine living further south where it’s hotter longer.

My weather app says it’s currently 37 degrees here. The thermometer on my deck says it’s 30 degrees. A heavy rain/snow mix has been falling all day. Just transitioned to heavy snow.

I’ll get up early and fire up the plow tomorrow morning.

Currently burning shoulder season punky Silver Maple in the Oslo - and Heartlands in the Harman.

I might have to use ac this week, before it cools into the 80’s this weekend. Good time to get 2 cords stacked at the house for the June-September bake.

For the most part, the wind has finally died down. Temps have dropped about 25 degrees also.

    60 right now.

Was in the high 70s today with wind blowing, 15 to 35 MPH all day.
Started mowing down alfalfa at work today.
    KIMG0426.JPG

Started at 6am, knocked down 2 fields then we got the bagger all set up for bagging the alfalfa then headed back out and knocked down one more field and started one more to finish tomorrow morning. Will probably start chopping and bagging the first field I cut today tomorrow mid-day, 12 and half hour day at work.

Got home after 6, had supper with the misses, then went out and watered the horses and split some pine with the isocore for an hour.

    Relaxing time now

I’ve actually stayed at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. It’s not too far from here. That place is really nice and $$expensive$$. Pretty creepy at night too.
