Was wet from this weekend's rain this morning. Sun was out all day wo the puddles dried up and down. . Ground is thawing out.
No fire at the moment , will build one later.

We're in cooling mode here, leaving the house open all night with 70's later. Getting the place cooled, letting the heat out from upper stories.

Our temp should drop to 37 or 38 tonight, since we still have some ash inside, we'll have a fire.

The fire feels good, less wood that I'll need to take out.

It was blowing a little and full overcast before dinner, I lit a small fire in the stove from some rat tail sticks and 2 year dried slabs. Now it quit blowing and the sun is out.
A little warm in the house.

Started a fire last evening when I got home. Looks to be cool and rainy so no doubt will be starting another one soon.

No fires for me. I called it, burning is over.
Sitting in Gaithersburg MD @ 62 right now. Suns out, it's beautiful. Predicting 90 this Saturday. Wife is taking me to Dover De for an air show for my BDay.

This not wearing long johns makes for more fire starting than what I prefer. Had to start one this morning at 10:30 because it was cloudy and breezy. Temp in the low 40s
Fire killed Spruce in the stove , putting along

Crazy spring weather... Close to 90 last Saturday, supposed to be close to 90 this coming Saturday, but started a fire this morning because it is raw and damp and in the low 40s (not projected to get out of the low 50s today). Haven't had a fire in 8 days so it feels good.
