    Can't like that wildwest what a mess! Cut up some wood at Lefty's place today and about 5 minutes after I stopped is when the light sprinkles got heavier.

    40/74 burning spruce and elm this evening. Heading for 30 overnight. Rolled the yard twice this weekend threw some seed out on a few areas. Neighbor mowed on Friday. Grass is getting pretty green.

    -5° F ambient temperature here at the homestead.
    Winds calm
    Just opened the draft on the stove for 20 minutes to get the coffee water hot. Then closed the draft most of the way. The black spruce I had in the stove from my 10 pm load is in fine shape for another few hours. But I'll fill the stove and close it down snug after I have a cup of coffee as it's go to the woods Monday:salute: IMG_20220404_050206222.jpg

    I don’t know temps this morning dog went out at 4 am. Came back with white stripe on his back.

    I was darn glad it was snow.
    Because I thought it was 100 pound skunk :hair:
