    20220310_052812.jpg 43f for a low this morning, 70f they say for this afternoon. I am still firing up the stove at night and in the morning to take the chill out, and because I have 175 pepper plants germinating in the basement. I have consistent temps of between 72 and 80f in the boxes.
    I have a mix of stuff left in the indoor wood storage, ash, maple, black birch, elm and red oak. I am thinking it should last for the rest of the season, it's a little under half a cord left. I will keep burning until night time temps are above 55f consistently, about first week of May.

    Beautiful time of year, you keep woodstove running on low because it’s 20s at night 40s during day. If the sun comes out, the house gets too warm so you open windows. :yes:

    +8 when I went outside at 8:30 am.
    Snowed overnight some more.
    Around 2" accumulation for this batch. .
    I'm kindof glad. I had plowed our winter road pretty good and had a little brown showing. Our summer road is under up to 7+ ' of drifter , packed snow. So I want the winter road to stay firm as long as possible.
    Last year it cost me over $800 . To rent a loader and dig it out. 20210417_145134.jpg
