    Currently 34F outside. The Myraid is stuffed with pine and the draft is cut way back. It is a balmy 110F in the stove room. Current house rules are clothing optionally. Sven and Ole the Pyrs are looking at me with homicidal intentions...

    Pretty much what we had today. 49 degrees still. Fresh cut ash twigs and branches on the fire pit.

    Oh god, yes. That's him to a tee. Ball obsessed, master ball retrieving machine. He plays well with other dogs with a ball, but he will get it first as he is fast, and 86 lbs of lean men retrieving machine. He'll do it all day too. He brings it right back to you too, no having to chase him. He's a ham, a very patient ham.

    38 out.
    Idling along with a couple sticks of beech and 15lbs coal.
    Snow depth is about half what it was 2 weeks ago. Looking at the hillside farmland across the valley it looks as if about 80% of the ground is still snow covered. The high spots that were wind blown are bare. We could still be in for some serious storms but def on the downhill side now.

    Was raining. Then winds picked up. Temps must be dropping. Rain is now snow. Wish this wind would calm down. I've got work in the woods to do!:mad:

    Right at 29º here and the wind is up and down like crazy. The afternoon turned out okay. Temps went up some and the sun came out. Wind, no wind. Wind, no wind.

    The first day of spring is this Friday?!:confused: Thursday night is suppose to be a low of 11º. Friday a high of 40º, Friday night a low of 26º. Then it starts to get nice. Saturday a high of 37º and rain/snow. Saturday night a low of 10º.:doh:

    64F outside now on the back deck, but heading for a cool down by Thursday, nite temps to be in the 30's. Definitely going to have to light a fire that nite!

    We're finally having a fire inside the FP tonight. Just taking the chill out of the house, maube we can get the living room into the 70s? That's my goal, well that and drinking beer because its st patty's day.

    It's 39 now probably getting to the low 30s tonight.
