    Just put half a load of Pine and Maple in the Wood Gun.

    Yesterday’s high was only about 30. That temp would have felt nice except the constant wind made it miserable outside.

    Looking at the extended forecast shows that maybe after this week things will start warming some.

    27 at the moment, projected to get down to the mid teens by dawn. I’ve got a couple fat splits of spruce going, burning down red and sugar maple coals. Hoping to push out the ash removal for a couple more days.

    One 8 X 8 pile left in the wood room. There is a little maybe 1/2 face cord on basement patio; the rest is under a couple feet of snow.

    Another beautiful sunny day. High was in the upper 20s . Somewhere around 10 above at the moment. There were some stars visible when I walked the dogs a while ago. Fire killed white and black spruce in the stove.

    A mild 34 this morning with no significant warm up in the works. Sugar maple and black locust today just because of that nice long coaling stage :yes:
