36 here and falling. Highs only in the teens and lows in the single digits predicted for the next ten days. Plenty of Oak and Locust ready. Ash and Maple now.
7/66. Already hit our high temp for the day; it's all downhill from here! Windy all night and continues for the day. Below zero temps lead to way below zero "real feel".
36 and calm right now, but the wind is supposed to pick up and get down into the 20's by this evening and low 10's overnight. The coal bed on the boiler is getting a little too deep, especially since we are heading into a little bit of a cold snap. I'll burn them down today and top it off with some more ash, maple, and cherry this evening.
It's 3 out right now and not going much higher, fairly strong wind at -14 and that's going to hit -25 by tonight. Red oak in the OWB
44f right now with temps falling throughout the day to 12f tonight. High tomorrow of 25f. 68f inside with red oak keeping it warm. No snow or ice here but it is forecast for the next two days. Mike in Okla
33 here, burning red oak. Put about 6-7 smaller size splits on the coal bed before I left for work and fully closed the draft. Headed for 42 today, then temp drops significantly and several inches of white stuff on the way.
2F/67F. Nuking coals with a single split currently. Making room for a packed load of R. Oak. Nothing but cold for a few days. It was 41F yesterday. Strange weather.
NICE! I had to replace a few things in the starting system in my Pinzgauer I use to own. It made quite a difference in how it started in the cold. Do you camp/travel/vacation in that beast?
